Abstract

The immobilized endo- and exo-arabinanases from Caldicellulosiruptor saccharolyticus produced continuously an average of 16.5 g l− 1l-arabinose from 20 g l− 1 sugar beet arabinan at pH 5.0 and 75°C for 216 h, with a productivity of 9.9 g l− 1 h− 1 and a conversion yield of 83%.
