Environmentally benign liquid phase oxidation of vanillin over copper containing ternary hydrotalcites
Abstract

Liquid phase oxidation of vanillin to vanillic acid is carried out over copper containing ternary hydrotalcites using water as a solvent and H2O2 as oxidant at 313 K. The catalytic activity and yield of these samples showed very high conversion and selectivity under environmental friendly conditions.
