Abstract

Ammonium-12-molybdophosphate, a heterogeneous catalyst, has been utilized for the first time for rapid (within 15–20 min) regioselective ring-opening of aziridines with KSCN at room temperature to form the corresponding β-aminothiocyanates in high yields.
